Faculty Advisor Responsibilities

"Diagnosing Your Information Needs"

  1. Selects an internship/field work experience site in consultation with the student.

  2. Contacts the site supervisor and makes arrangements for the student's interview.

  3. Discusses the Health Informatics Internship/Field Work Experience Form with the student.

  4. Communicates with the student and the site supervisor during the semester.

  5. Visits the site.

  6. In collaboration with the site supervisor, assigns a grade to the student.
