Graduate
Internet Coursework in Behavior Analysis
Department of Behavior Analysis
University of North Texas
The online courses in Behavior Analysis
were designed to meet the needs of human service professionals and other individuals who
do not have access to a university that offers a curriculum in behavior analysis or who
cannot meet the scheduling requirements of on-campus courses.
These courses cover the academic
component of the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB) requirements to apply for
certification as a behavior analyst (for those with an advanced degree) or as an associate
behavior analyst (for those with a bachelors degree).
Click here to see BACB Requirements
Covered in these courses:
The first 4 courses cover much of the specific content required by BACB (BEHV
5130, 5150, 5170, 5900 Ethics). Additional courses may be combined in
various ways to complete the BACB requirements.
Two ways to enroll for the same
coursework!
Both are accepted by the BACB to become certified!
- Take courses directly from the Behavior
Analysis Department
and receive a Certificate of Mastery Level for
each completed course.
OR
- Enroll through the UNT Graduate School to earn
a graduate Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis and receive
transcript documentation of SCH credit. This is an academic certificate and covers only the
coursework, not the practicum supervision, requirements of BACB. This is
not a degree in Applied Behavior Analysis. This also is not
certification, as that is done by the BACB.
