This course is the third in a sequence of internet courses for non-degree seeking graduate students. It features the use of the scientific method in evaluating assessment and intervention techniques in behavior analysis. Topics include measurement techniques, single-subject experimental design, selection of dependent and independent variables, graphical presentation and evaluation of results, and ethics pertaining to human subjects. Principles and procedures involved in the experimental analysis of reinforcement schedules, stimulus control, and stimulus equivalence are included. The complete internet sequence fulfills minimum academic requirements of the Behavior Analysis Certification Board. The prerequisites for this course are BEHV5130 Basic Behavior Principles.) and BEHV 5150 Techniques in Applied Behavior Analysis.
