Course Sequence
Online Graduate Courses in Behavior Analysis
Offered only via Internet; all courses offered every semester

  • The UNT Online Course sequences have been pre-approved by BACB as meeting all content-specific requirements for Board Certification.
  • Students wishing to apply for admission to the Graduate Academic Certificate program must apply to the UNT Graduate School (click and review Certificate and Apply/Enroll, above right).
  • Students wishing to take courses only for the purpose of meeting BACB academic requirements or only for continuing education credit may apply to the Department of Behavior Analysis (click Apply/Enroll, above right).
  • Note to students wishing to combine UNT courses with coursework taken elsewhere:
    • Students are responsible for determining whether the particular combination of courses they take meets BACB content requirements.
    • The most likely (but not necessarily foolproof) way to combine courses successfully is to take the first 4 UNT courses (10 SCH) and use other coursework to fill in missing content and as electives. It would be even safer to take the first 5 UNT courses (13 SCH), thereby ensuring all content requirements of BACB are met; and use other work as electives.
    • No course can be taken without the prerequisites. The admissions coordinator will determine whether courses taken elsewhere will be considered as prerequisite for later UNT courses. Although this does not ensure the BACB will consider the courses equivalent, it assures us that students are reasonably prepared for later courses in our sequence.
