For the purpose of completing the academic requirements needed to sit for the BC Associate BA exam or the BCBA exam with the Behavior Analysis Certification Board, the online courses may be taken through either form of enrollment.
The courses are exactly the same.
It is the student’s needs and preference that determine the best way for the student to enroll.
When making your decision about which way to enroll, consider the following:
Will I be continuing my education, and therefore need transcript documentation?
THEN -- Enroll through the UNT Graduate School
Will my future employers need transcript documentation for my salary compensation?
THEN -- Enroll through the UNT Graduate School
Am I taking the coursework only to meet the BACB academic component?
THEN -- Enroll through either the BA Department or the UNT Graduate School
Department of Behavior Analysis enrolled students:
Department enrolled course work will never be entered on an official transcript.
Certificates of Mastery are issued by the Behavior Analysis Distance Learning Office, for each course completed in lieu of documentation on a transcript.
Your EUID will begin with a Z followed by your initials and will end with a four digit number, and is assigned by the Behavior Analysis Department.
UNT Toulouse Graduate School Admissions enrolled students:
Courses taken through the UNT Toulouse Graduate School for graduate credit are recorded on an official transcript, and are transferable to other colleges or universities. Students have a 4 year timeline to complete these courses for application toward the certificate program.
Individual schools, to which students request their credits to be transferred, determine how course credit is applied toward their degree or program requirements.
Your EUID will begin with your initials and end with a four digit number, and is assigned by UNT.
If specified to the UNT Toulouse Graduate School, students will receive a certificate of completion after finishing the 15 hour sequence of courses of the Graduate Academic Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis [GACT-ABA], from the UNT Toulouse Graduate School.
