Research Interests

Include cataloging, automation systems, collaboration networks, social netwok analysis, and information behavior in context.

At the heart of my research is the relationship between K-12 student learning and achievement and the roles that the school library plays in enabling the journey from information to knowledge. The foundation for this research is grounded in cognitive science and information science; specifically, incorporating theories on the organization of information, user behavior, learning theory, constructivism, and social network theory.
