INTRODUCTORY INFORMATION

I was born in Paris, TX home of the Eiffel Tower with a cowboy hat in the worst dust storm in Texas history. At least according to my Grandpa! I recently celebrated my second wedding anniversary with my husband Adam, and each year just keeps getting better. I live and work in Commerce, TX.

STORYTELLING INTERESTS

You could say storytelling found me. I have always loved hearing stories. My grandpa used to tell some good ones, that left you wondering if they were true or not, for instance, me being born in the worst dust storm in Texas history. I was blessed to be surrounded by wonderful storytellers as I grew up who told of my family’s history. As I grew older I began to spin tales myself, both truth and fiction. I have learned that I love to see someone’s face light up if they are enjoying what they are hearing.

MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION

I love my family. Adam and I are fortunate to live very close to our family and you can often find us on the phone or visiting. My nieces are my best storytelling audience.

I also love to TRAVEL! If I could afford it I would probably be a professional traveler. I love to see new places and visit different cultures. You can learn more from the world around you than in most classrooms.
