TOMISHA JOHNSON INTRODUCTORY INFORMATION I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. As a single woman with no children and no pets, I like to spend my free time with my family members, writing, and watching television. I mainly like to write poetry, or should I say poetry likes to be written by me, since it is something that comes naturally at various times. I am currently a Children’s Librarian at a public library. EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND M.S. Candidate in Library and Information
Science STORYTELLING INTERESTS All the credit goes to the UNT School of Library & Information Science and Dr. E. Figa for my introduction to the art of storytelling. My storytelling experience has been a great confidence booster. I have enjoyed performing different stories and look forward to continuing to challenge myself. I like to tell stories that are humorous, however I am in the process of attempting stories that convey different emotions. I would also like to be able to tell my poetry, which I’ve never taken the time to learn to tell. MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION I love to do jigsaw puzzles when I get the time. I am also a big football fan and want to name my first born after Peyton Manning. I love to sing although I can’t hold a note. |
