Old Granny lives all alone and loves to eat beans. She is lonely, but does all right, as long as she has her beans. When a bean thief steals her beans three nights in a row, she is off to town to tell the sheriff. Along the way she meets some unusual critters that want to come home with her. When the sheriff is no help, she reluctantly brings the critters home. With the assistance of her new friends, she not only gets rid of the bean thief, but of her loneliness, too.
