Storytelling FAQ

This website is very good. First off, there is easily accessible contact
information and information about the author. There are no ads or pop ups, and
the amount of information here is awesome!
I focused only on the FAQ page, which has a lot of good (unbroken) links and
descriptions. There is also contact information listed at the top of the page,
which I found very reassuring. It makes the author look more reliable in my
eyes.
It also has a fairly recent update (May 2003), which indicates this isn't a
forgotten page lost on the Interent.

Storytelling FAQ takes you to a page called "Tim Sheppard's Storytelling
Resources for Storytellers." This page contains links to advice, resources,
articles, books, links, stories, video and audio clips, and a heads-up on new
content that has recently been added to the website. This page is part of a
website called "The Storytelling Ring" (http://www.pjtss.net/ring/), which is
created by Kerry Mens, a professional storyteller since 1992 who took it upon
herself to set up a website by and for storytellers. Almost any websites are
accepted, as long as they provide some sort of information for or about
storytellers.
There is a wealth of information available through Storytelling FAQ and its
parent site, The Storytelling Ring. One must keep in mind that while websites
are checked against internal standards, accuracy, authority, and objectivity may
not be very high. The coverage, however, is extensive, and provides links from
the United States and from England. Storytelling FAQ was updated in early 2003,
so is fairly current. All in all, Storytelling FAQ is a good website to bookmark
because of its wealth of information.
