I grew up in the small town of Parkers Prairie in central Minnesota, where I had plenty of time to daydream. My husband Bob and I have two grown children. We now share our home with our entertaining orange tabby, Molly. I have worked and volunteered in libraries since 1995, including two school libraries, two church libraries, Hennepin County Libraries, and Anoka County Libraries all in Minnesota.

I have always enjoyed writing and seem to have a lot to say. When my children were small and I read picture books to them, I thought, "I could write stories like that too!" Over the last several years, I have been recording my family history, which includes interviewing family elders. I have told stories to children in a preschool setting. My focus is to bring a fresh perspective to stories with a hero that comes out of the experience stronger or wiser. This includes both fairly tales and stories by contemporary authors.
I am secretary of my townhome association. I enjoy quilting, crocheting, sewing, creative art projects, walking, cross country skiing, and reading mysteries.
