Since I was little the library has been a special part of my life, it's a wonder it took me so long to return. Three years ago I began working in the Outreach Department with Henderson Libraries in Henderson Nevada. Two years ago I began my UNT course work while my patient and understanding husband has grown accustomed to seeing my computer as some kind of lap appendage. I also have two amazing sons, Shane and Jack, who make it all worthwhile.

I have always loved listening to stories. I remember my first drama teacher telling the classroom, "If you ever want to grab someone's attention tell them a story." I never imagined that I'd want to tell my own stories. I plan to start a storytelling club at my library branch. I also plan to record my parent's childhood stories.
After I graduate I look forward to traveling, writing, reading novels, and getting reacquainted with my friends and family members.
